What does the consultation involve?
On arrival, you will be asked to complete a health questionnaire, we will discuss your current health issues. We will then complete the food/drink intolerance and vitamin & mineral deficiencies test.
Your results will immediately be shared with you. We will discuss the next steps with you, working towards getting your health back in tip top condition.
The equipment used is an electronic device which works on a physics principle. It measures the body’s resistance to tested substances. If a substance is causing a problem, it will affect the energy resistance, giving an abnormal reading. The test itself is pain-free and non-intrusive. It is best described as having a ball point pen pressing on an acupuncture point on the tip of your finger.
How long does it take?
The consultation takes about an hour, depending on the number of questions you may have as we like our clients to leave their consultations fully informed.
We will shortly be offering an additional service of wellness coaching. These sessions will take up to an hour. If you choose to add this as part of your intolerance consultation, the session will take up to 2 hours.
How long does it take to know the results?
The results are instant, you will be advised of the results immediately following the consultation and given information to take home.
Is the test suitable for everyone?
The test is suitable for anyone, with exception to those fitted with a pacemaker. We are happy to test children aged 4 years and older.
How much does it cost?
Food intolerance and sensitivity consultations (including the test) are £75 per person.
A £15 deposit is required to secure all appointments.
Please note that if you reschedule or cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment time, your deposit will be non-refundable.
How do I pay for the test?
We accept a bank transfer, card payment or cash. (Bank transfers are to be received prior to the appointment please).
How many tests will I need?
Most clients only require one test.
Will I have to avoid certain foods forever?
We usually suggest an initial elimination period of 4 weeks. Foods are then gradually re-introduced. It is at this point we can see how well your body is tolerating the food again.
Many of our clients feel so much better following the elimination phase that they do not re-introduce the food at all. Some will go ahead and eat it in moderation.
